Most privacy policies are written so you won't read them. This one's written so you will. Here's exactly what this site collects, why, and what happens to it.
// WHAT WE COLLECT
Every website collects this. We're just the ones telling you about it.
Your IP address — yeah, we can see where you're connecting from
Your user agent string — browser, OS, the works
Screen size and viewport — we know if you're on a phone or a 4K monitor
Timezone and language — narrows down where you are and what you speak
Operating system and platform — Windows, Mac, Linux, mobile, we see it
GPU vendor and renderer — your graphics card has a name and we read it
CPU core count and device memory — how beefy your machine is
Network connection type and speed — Wi-Fi, cellular, how fast
Touch capability and input devices — touchscreen? Mouse? Both?
Canvas, audio, and math fingerprint hashes — unique-to-you identifiers your browser hands over for free
Media device count — how many cameras, mics, and speakers you've got plugged in
Battery status — if your browser shares it, we'll show you that too
Browser storage quota — how much space your browser is willing to give a site
How long you stayed on this page
Where you came from (referrer URL)
How many times you've visited and when
// WHY
To show you what's happening. Every data point we collect gets displayed right back to you — that's the whole point. This site exists to make the invisible visible. Every website you visit collects this same stuff. Most of them just don't tell you.
// HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
90 days. After that, it's gone. Automatically purged. No archives, no backups, no "we might need it later." Gone.
// WHO ELSE SEES IT
Nobody. Zero third parties. No ad networks, no analytics platforms, no data brokers, no "trusted partners." This server is self-hosted. Your data stays on this box and nowhere else.
// COOKIES
One cookie. It's called noided_id. It contains a random UUID so we can recognize you if you come back. Expires after 5 years. That's it — no tracking pixels, no session replay, no fingerprint cookies.
// HOW TO OPT OUT
Clear your cookies and your visitor identity resets. You can also enable Do Not Track in your browser — we'll note it in your data readout, which is kind of the point. Or just don't visit. That works too.
